The miniature schnauzer puppies were obtained by crossing the standard Schnauzer with the Affenpincher. It was recognized at the beginning of the century. It is a small but strong dog, with a squared head. It has fluffy eyebrows, and it requires brushing a lot.
The body is covered with a double layer of fur, and this is why it can pose some problems, especially if kept in an apartment. They are suited for yards, they like to walk a lot, but they can adapt to a master that has less activity.
