The Yorkshire terrier puppies were first developed some centuries ago, by crossing the Skye Terrier with the Dandie Dinmont. It was breed by miners from the York area. The breed was improved many times, until it became what it is today. It became the most popular company dog at the beginning of the 20th century in England, and this popularity exists even today. The puppies are black and brown, and they will change their color when they are two years old.
