The Maltese dogs are smart, happy and playful friendly and sociable, but also sensitive. It is a good listener, devoted to the master and patient with children. It is cautious and vigilant with strangers, and it gets along just fine with other animals. The fur of this dog requires daily care, and washing. The extra hair from the corners of the eyes must be removed. It is a great dog for apartments, but it requires daily attention. It has a low activity level, but it does not refuse long walks.
