Boerboel Puppies

The origins of the Boerboel breed can’t be established exactly, but the first Boerboel puppies were brought from Africa. It is supposed that it was the dog of African farmers. Some say that this dog was used for hunting 3000 years ago, but it was discovered in South Africa in 1652. They were extremely useful for European colonists in Africa, as they are resistant at travelling overseas. The Boerboel breed is a family dog today, because it has a kind and protective behavior. It can’t be used for hunting or fighting, so this means that the original race from Africa was changed a lot during the last four centuries.
